We help youth who are low or no income who have barriers to education or employment. This can include dropout, parenting, drug use, criminal background, foster care, alternative school, disability, homelessness, or other barriers.

Youth Opportunity Program (Yoop!) is a Chehalem Youth and Family Services program dedicated to serving youth ages 16 to 24 of Yamhill County.

At Yoop! youth can receive help completing their high school diploma or GED and pursuing career pathways through college, trade school, apprenticeships, and entrepreneurship . Youth can also receive assistance with job soft skills, resume building, job searching, and interview skills.

To help youth overcome their barriers and reach their goals we have individualized tutoring, job skill building, internships, and volunteer opportunities. We also provide incentives for completing steps to reach the youth’s personal goals for their education and career.
